Dr. David Jaimovich is the President and founder of QRI, former Chief Medical Officer and Vice President for International Accreditation Services for Joint Commission International and Joint Commission Resources. He is a “hands on” physician executive with over 30 years of experience with a career long commitment to patient centered care and a passion for physician engagement in patient safety and quality improvement.

A sought-after speaker, he has presented at hundreds of national and international conferences on such topics as performance improvement, accreditation operations, standards development and disaster preparedness. He has published numerous books, chapters and original articles in peer reviewed journals.

The recipient of numerous awards including a 2015 Honorary Doctorate in Quality and Patient Safety from the Universidad Autónoma de México, Top Doctors in America in 2005 and the 2004 Ron W. Lee, M.D. Excellence in Pediatric Care Award.

He currently serves as a Member of the Standards Development and oversight Committee of the Chinese Hospital Association. He holds an Honorary Professorship at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, where he received the 1999 Gold Medal for Clinical Excellence in the Medical Field.
