The National Cardiovascular Institute (INCOR) of Peru has started its process of preparation for Joint Commission International Accreditation. QRI is proud to collaborate with the Institute in its journey to quality and patient safety after being awarded the EsSalud tender in May 2019.
The project to prepare for accreditation includes,an initial baseline evaluation that allows QRI to know the currentquality and patient safety situation of the institution. Following this baseline assessment, QRI will develop an action plan to implement the measurable elements of the JCI Hospital accreditation standards manual. Meanwhile, a training program, focused on the 6th edition of JCI standards, will be presented so that the staffwill gain the essential knowledge and familiarize themselves with the respective standards.
Throughout the process of implementation, the QRI team will provide exhaustive monitoring and follow-up until the institution is ready to receive the official visit of Joint Commission International.
